Where to even start? Well the plan is to show you the work in process of it being made. From storyboard, concept art, character design to rough animation all will be featured on http://www.pigtailstudio.com/news/archives/category/4-flight and or pigtailstudio.com/news.

About: ”With dreams comes emotions that take flight.” This is a musical animated short following a little girl called Yume.

The idea was inspired from mood swings and PMS. There are certain emotions that a female goes through in each cycle and they are represented with four elements Water, Air, Energy (ex. explosion, fire, electricity, stars and etc), Nature (ex. earth, wood, plant life). Originally the title of piece was going to be “The Flight of Four Elements.”, later was simplified to [ 4flight ].

Yume is a Japanese word for “Dream” . She represents our dreams that get lost or inspired by all the emotions inside of her. Inspired by Japanese arts and media, it is a way to say thank you to the many works that influenced M.B.

Plan:
MB: “There is no plan, this idea was in my head since 2010. I simply will take on step at a time. If I complete this animation short yey, If not what do you expect from one person?! I am just doing this to express what has bottled up in me. Enjoy the process and or the behind story behind the idea.”

Ponzi Got Featured at MangaMagazine! Yey! What does it mean? It means that we are one step closer to speeding up the release rate. By visiting & reading this comic on the site will help us gain popularity.

I feel like telling a story. First of this year has been very isolated year for our studio. Our five members have been struggling to pay of our loans, went on separate adventures.

We haven’t seen Jen in 2 years. She is far away in China and we all want her to come back. Lily has a full time job at Goodwill, she is lucky to take off to go to cons with us and provide financial support to the studio. Kevin who has gigs here and there, comes to help to clean up the dishes, clean our messes and bring some snacks for studio. Kate who completed two schools, even with financial struggles is able to rent the place of where we call our studio. MB has been living on lonely island, while trying to stay inspired to keep pursuing to make art even if she has been cut of from artistic community to remind her that she is still is an artist.

Despite the simple life struggles, that I am sure many artists face. We would like to thank our fans. We read your comments and emails when we are in bad mood and it cheers us up. Here is one of emails, that moved us.

Recently also AzurePro Studios did a review of the first volume of Ponzi. We all were shocked at how dead accurate the description was. It made us happy knowing that people can see what we are trying to tell with our work.
